Discrimination of people with epilepsy affects their human rights. The EUCARE Political Action Group focuses on the education of politicians and the general public to reduce ignorance and discrimination. It aims to raise awareness among policy makers in the European Union institutions and support the Parliamentary Advocates for Epilepsy. Issues are identified which may be addressed within the political arena in liaison with the ILAE Commission of European Affairs and IBE European Committee.
